A: Finish First is a 12-week training program designed to teach future technicians how to maintain, diagnose and repair DTNA products.

A: The Finish First program is offered at Universal Technical Institute's Avondale, AZ campus (outside of Phoenix).

Q: Do I need any specific qualifications to enroll in Finish First?

A: You will need:

  • A NATEF certified auto/diesel technical diploma from a post-secondary school
  • Excellent GPA, attendance and driving record
  • A high-level of motivation
  • A can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong math and computer skills
  • Hands-on learning skills
  • Exceptional deductive reasoning skills
  • The desire for a stable and challenging career
  • A comfort level for career advancement and management opportunities

Q: What happens after 12 weeks?

A: After successful completion of the program, you will be accredited in all DTNA required courses, giving you the edge over other entry-level technicians seeking employment at DTNA dealer service locations.
